We partnered with Smithers Quality Assessments, www.smithersregistrar.com, an accredited quality and environmental management systems certification body, to achieve our certification.
We are ASCA Certified
The Accredited Snow Contractors Association is a trade association with the purpose of advancing the professional snow and ice management industry in some of the following areas: Providing educational programs and publications in all aspects of snow and ice management; Developing and maintaining professional accreditation programs to encourage high standards for snow and ice management professionals; Collecting and disseminating information pertaining to the snow and ice management industry, including statistical data and other statistical research; and more . . .
ANSI Standards
The ASCA is proud to be an accredited Standards Development Organization by the American National Standards Institute, and a leader in educational services for the professional snow and ice management industry.
The central component of the ASCA’s standards program is the publication and maintenance of the American National Standard, System Requirements for Snow and Ice Management Services: ANSI/ASCA A1000-2014. About Time Snow is a proud follower of these standards.

Leadership Award
Stephen Summer of About Time Snow receieved a 2015 leadership award surrounded by his peers at the ASCA Executive Summit banquet this past August 2015.
Award recipients are nominated by peers and afetr rigorous vetting are chosen by an ASCA committee. Recipients are not only chosen for their leadership within the snow and ice industry, but also for their leadership within the communities. This is a prestigious award, one that is bestowed upon a select few, only those at the very pinnacle of their profession.
Excellence in Business Award
The Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) awarded About Time Snow at the 18th Annual SIMA Symposium in Schaumberg, Illinois. This prestigious award is given once a year to a member snow contracting firm that displays exemplary professionalism in its dealings with customers, clients and staff. After an extensive vetting process, it was determined that the 2015 Excellence in Business Award should go to About Time Snow.
SIMA was founded in 1996 in Erie, PA. The organization has upwards of 2000 member companies from North America, and was formed to help snow professionals become more educated in their chosen profession and enhance the service offering of its members.
