SIMA Excellence in Business


The Snow & Ice Management Association (SIMA) awarded About Time Snow at the 18th Annual SIMA Symposium in Schaumberg, Illinois. This prestigious award is given once a year to a member snow contracting firm that displays exemplary professionalism in its dealings with customers, clients and staff. After an extensive vetting process, it was determined that the 2015 Excellence in Business Award should go to About Time Snow

In January 2015, ATS earned it’s ISO SN9001:2012 standard certification. We are delighted to serve our customers better through the well-defined and documented procedures.. While we've always been committed to quality in our products and services, this certification ensures a more productive environment through faster identification and resolution of quality issues, among many other benefits.
We partnered with Smithers Quality Assessments to achieve our certification.

The Snow & Ice Management Association is a North American trade association for snow & ice industry professionals. SIMA is the resource that raises awareness through networking and education.

Snowfighters Institute


Snowfighters Institute was created to “forever pursue, research, and develop snow industry training”. 
This is the first entity fully dedicated to educational pursuits as they pertain to the snow and ice management industry. Here, snow contractors of all sizes gather to discuss specific topics pertaining to all aspects of managing and running a snow contracting operation.

ANSI Standards


The ASCA is proud to be an accredited Standards Development Organization by ANSI, and is a  leader in educational services for the professional snow and ice management industry.
The central component of the ASCA’s standards program is the publication and maintenance of the American National Standard, System Requirements for Snow and Ice Management Services: ANSI/ASCA A1000-2014. ATS is a proud follower of these standards.

ASCA Leadership Award


Stephen Summer of About Time Snow received a 2015 leadership at the ASCA Executive Summit banquet in August 2015. 
Award recipients are nominated by peers and after rigorous vetting are chosen by an ASCA committee. Recipients are not only chosen for their leadership within the snow and ice industry, but also for their leadership within the communities. This is a prestigious award, one that is bestowed upon a select few.
